Does beef tallow skincare actually smell like beef?

It is a common concern, but properly rendered and purified beef tallow has little to no animal scent. Is tallow balm non-comedogenic, or will it clog my pores?

Pure grass-fed tallow is remarkably similar to human sebum—the natural oil your skin produces—making it highly “biocompatible”. Because it mimics your skin’s natural oils, it is generally absorbed effectively without clogging pores when used in small amounts.
